![]() Thursday, 11th Apr 2002 09:20 Town are to set-up mini-leagues for the under-8s and under-9s in time for next season. The scheme is the first of its type involving a league club and will involve 48 seven-a-side teams on Sunday mornings. Town's Development Coach Steve Cooper said: "This is about youngsters of all abilities having fun playing the game. And as young players develop their skills, through better coaching, it becomes a better game." The leagues are open to boys and girls of eight and nine-years-old.
