Painter on Life's a Pitch
Friday, 16th Dec 2016 15:54

Darts star Kevin Painter will be talking to the regulars on Life’s a Pitch at lunchtime on Saturday on BBC Radio Suffolk (midday to 2pm). Host Mark Murphy will also be joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham, who will be at the DW Stadium ahead of Town's game against Wigan.

Painter beat Jamie Caven 3-1 in his first round tie at the PDC World Darts Championship on Thursday evening and could face Phil 'The Power' Taylor in the second round, a repeat of their famous 2004 final in which 'The Artist', a Sir Bobby Robson Stand season ticket holder, was narrowly defeated 7-6.

On February 7th Painter and former world champion Keith Deller will be taking part in the fourth annual Town Legends of Darts event to raise funds for the Academy Association at Greshams Sport and Social Club in Tuddenham Road (7pm).

Can the Blues get back to winning ways at Wigan? Give us your thoughts on that question or anything else via email, Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and also now on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
