Please send Marcus to PR for the run in. Fantastic player for us, what great days they were. 5th in the Prem seems so long ago now. He would walk into our current team

Remember it was the same guy that signed Stewart as Finidi George.

One of the reasons we cant sign anyone good today!

However, Stewart was a smart striker with guile, speed of thought and pace over a few yards.

Will never forget his penalty at Southampton sheer class. Oh for those days when we played attacking football.

Strange how we were paying fees of £2.5m for players like Stewart 17 years ago and now we're paying £10,000 for Kieffer Moore. I miss those days.

Please ask him if he & Darrell Clarke would fancy the Ipswich job when it becomes available.

The guy is a legend to me. 15 years ago as he was joining Sunderland I had a serious car crash and Marcus went out of his way to send me loads of personal memorabilia to my hospital that I was on a life support machine on. Class man and always will be to me .
