Monday, 17th Apr 2017 14:23

Town are unchanged for today’s Sir Bobby Robson Day game at home to Newcastle United.

The Blues could line-up in a number of systems but could start in a 4-4-2 system with Tom Lawrence on the left and Grant Ward on the right with David McGoldrick and Freddie Sears up front.

For Newcastle, former Blue Daryl Murphy is one of five changes and starts up front as the lone striker in their 4-4-1-1 system. DeAndre Yedlin, Grant Hanley, Mohamed Diame and Christian Atsu also return to the team, while ex-Town loanee Jack Colback is on the bench.

Town: Bialkowski, Spence, Chambers (c), Berra, Kenlock, Skuse, Huws, Ward, Lawrence, Sears, McGoldrick. Subs: Crowe, T Smith, Pitman, Bru, Emmanuel, Diagouraga, Samuel.

Newcastle: Darlow, Dummett, Hanley, Lascelles (c), Ritchie, Shelvey, Hayden, Diame, Yedlin, Atsu, Murphy. Subs: Elliott, Colback, Perez, Mbemba, Gouffran, Gamez, Mitrovic. Referee: Tim Robinson (West Sussex).
