Thursday, 2nd Nov 2017 21:24

Young Blues keeper Harry Wright has joined Vanarama National League South side East Thurrock United on a month’s loan.

Wright, the son of former Blues, Arsenal and England glovesman Richard, signed a new one-year deal with Town in the summer.

Earlier in the season, Wright, who turns 19 on Friday, spent a brief stint on loan at Brightlingsea Regent without featuring for their first team.

Meanwhile, fellow young Town keeper Nick Hayes, 18, made his debut for Dunstable Town as they lost 2-0 away at Hereford on Tuesday.

Former England U17 international Hayes is on loan with the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club for an initial month.
