Palace Eyeing Bialkowski Claim
Sunday, 24th Dec 2017 15:39

Crystal Palace are reported to be showing interest in Blues keeper Bartosz Bialkowski ahead of the January transfer window.

According to The Sun on Sunday the Eagles are looking to sign a keeper during the window with Paris Saint-Germain’s Kevin Trapp their top target.

However, they are said view Bialkowski as an alternative if they're unable to land the German international.

Having made checks on the former Poland U20 international, manager Roy Hodgson is claimed to have contacted Town regarding the 30-year-old and may be close to making an offer.

Bialkowski is out of contract in the summer but with the Blues having an option to keep him for a further year, something they are all but certain to exercise before the end of the season.

Asked whether he was aware of any interest in him after yesterday’s game at Wolves, Bialkowski said: “I’m just trying concentrate on my football, I’m just doing my thing.”

......... no surprise - he'll soon be on his way, with no shortage of takers. Makes Mignolet look no more than a joke.

Have watched Trapp several times and think Bart is better so relieved that Trapp is suspected to be the first target.
Always thought that Speroni was pretty good and he looks like slipping to number 3 which should interest someone

If offer is big enough why would we stand in his way, surely that's his goal to play at highest level. How much, who knows? Just hope we reinvest but not holding out for Gerks. Plenty of keepers keeping benches warm to choose from!

If Bart goes that is our season done, simple as that. With his contract situation i think we will get £2 - £2.5 million for him. I think this is the harsh reality of it which makes me mad. No doubt he is the best GK outside the Premiership by a country mile. Maybe try to sign Lee Grant from Stoke City???

Don't think going to Palace is much of a step forward he would be better staying here at least till the end of the season then see who comes in for him if we don't get in the playoffs.

sDidn't want to be reading that ! looks ominous, and people on here quite happy to see it happen , in belief the money will be reinvested , dream on , Unless Evans has been transformed in an Alien abduction. Hopefully Bart will stay ,at least till end of season, disruption is last thing we need now .

If town sell Bart the this tells you what a crap set up there is Portman Road.We already know McCarthys attitude towards supporters so it's in his attitude any more he could do to upset them would thoroughly delight him.Lose your number one kingpin player is suicide .All good teams build up from your number one player being the goalkeeper. If he goes. Then tow willow lucky to have nine thousand season ticket holders.Last home game was a big enough hint to them. There is no way Gerken is good enough as a replacement.Go away McCarthy before you destroy us.
