Webber Stays at Braintree, McKendry Returns to Town
Tuesday, 6th Mar 2018 12:16

Young defender Pat Webber’s loan with Braintree Town has been extended into a second month but winger Conor McKendry is to return to the Blues.

Webber, 18, has made three appearances for the Iron since the duo joined the Vanarama National League South side in early February. He will now remain with the Essex club until April 7th.

Northern Irish U21 call-up McKendry, 19, made one start and two sub appearances while at Cressing Road.

Former Worthing youth player Webber, whose father Damien played for Mick McCarthy at Millwall, made his first and so far only senior Town appearance at Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup in August, while one-time Glenavon youngster McKendry is yet to make his first-team debut for the Blues.
