Crazee's Orwell Challenge - Help Save a Part of Suffolk Heritage Monday, 14th May 2018 13:10 Club mascot Crazee will once again be getting on his bike to raise money for charity when he cycles the 15-mile Orwell Challenge route on Sunday 17th June. Having taken part in aid of a local children's charity last year, this time around he is looking to raise money for the Suffolk Punch Trust at Hollesley Bay, the world's oldest and largest stud farm for the horses which have been bred here for more than 250 years. Experts predict the Suffolk Punch, which appears on the Town badge, could be extinct within 10 years with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST) having placed it at number three on its list of farm breeds mostly likely to die out. In addition to his matchday duties, Crazee has also raised cash for local charities in the past having zip-wired across the pitch at Portman Road, sat on all 30,310 seats in the ground and taken part in the Orwell Cycle Ride three times and Sport Relief walk twice. ![]()
