Why is he still in the position to give the pre-match press conference? Phil, any inside news on whether he might resign or be fired?

"23rd-placed Blues"...it'll be "22nd-placed Blues" if Cloughie's Old Boys can win by two tonight.

We as fans are frustrated/ dissapointed / and sure there are stronger words to describe our perilous situation, Bryan Klug & his colleagues must be distraught at the current position, so this season is very about survival 105 points to play for we possibly need another 49 whilst gates get lower those of us with ITFC in our dna will continue to support irrespective of manager/players etc hoping for the elusive win/wins that will save us.

Please ask the question, why were so many crossing coming in on Tuesday night when there was either one or no blue shirts in the box.

Well the sheer suspense of what Sport Scientific Paul's next round of 'Words of Wisdom' might be, is almost too much to handle isn't it? LOL

Anyway, with regard to the imho very interesting ongoing discussion of "Is there gonna be 3 teams worse than us?"... well Millwall has so far largely looked like a shadow of their impressive shoestring-budget (no conspicuous incoming transfers & loans worth mentioning, for actually the 2nd season running!) 2017-2018 campaign, but tonight they once AGAIN absolutely *bombarded* their opponent with shots, much like they did many times during said last campaign (including twice against us).

Thus tonight Millwall 'OutShot' Nottingham 20-7 and at their place!, including a sizzling 10-2 in shots 'On Target!' --- Oh and btw in case you don't know or don't want to know?! last I checked EVERY team in our league had accumulated more shots 'On Target' than Hurst's unmistakably ANEMIC-looking Ragtag United, and since we only have had a meager 6 combined in the last 3 contest!, it must be pretty safe to say that's still the case! --- and I for one believe that The Lions will find their feet again, especially on home turf, and thus climb into relative safety sooner rather than later. Simply too many really creative offensive-minded players who all know where the goal is... although their defense sure could need some type of strengthening in the January window.

If this sticks, that leaves dysfunctional Preston, Hull, Reading as well as newcomers Rotherham as the most obvious *other* contenders for a relegation place... as the teams currently placed between 18 & 15 are much more likely, for a variety of reasons, to imho SUCCESSFULLY strengthen their squads in January if needed, than we are with our inherently football-cluelesss & tighta$$ed nitwit owner... even more so if the seriously out-of-his-depth looking Mr. Hurst is still employed as Evans's 'handpicked' manager by then!

I suspect that this will be his last pre-game press conference. Don't get me wrong I like the man and was pleased when we went for him, but I said I would give him 10 games before really forming an opinion on it all and that opinion now is that he looks a defeated man. You could tell from the Boro post match conference his enthusiasm has gone.

Can't see us getting anything against the swans and the international break would be the right time to change things up. Give a new man a couple of weeks to work out the best team.

Genuinely gutted that it hasn't worked, but I feel for any manager coming in with the lack of support offered up by our owner. He has spent in excess of £4m (albeit funded by player sales) whereas MM spent that over 5 years. The time was right for change from MM but imagine if he had of been given £4m to spend in the January we were in the top 2 of the league!! Could all be a very different story.

I don't buy the story for one minute about the amount of money he puts in the club, especially when for the last 10 years he has had his own name on shirts, stadium and everywhere you look around Portman Road.... its called sponsorship!

A statement of intent is needed from ME. Either start investing and competing in this league or have the decency to come out and admit that the club is a burden on you now and you don't really want it, hence the lack of investment.
