Bent to Charlton?

Marcus Bent is being linked with a possible move to Charlton. Bent joined Town from Blackburn last November and scored 10 goals for the Blues.

It is reported that the London club are only willing to offer the £3 million that Town paid the Lancastrians for his services, a figure lower than mentioned in previous speculation over Bent this summer.

Bent, 24, is one of six front-line strikers at Portman Road and it would be by no means a surprise if more or two leave.

Perviously this summer Bent has been linked with West Ham and Spurs, Glenn Hoddle admitting interest in the former Brentford, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Blackburn man.
