Lambert: Andoh Definitely Worth Another Look Friday, 13th Dec 2019 12:29 Town boss Paul Lambert says January signing Levi Andoh was worth having a longer-term look at after impressing him in his trial games for the U23s. The 19-year-old right-back (pictured above left), who can also play elsewhere in defence and in midfield, will put pen to paper on an 18-month deal once the transfer window opens in January. “I’ve seen him in a few games with the kids and I thought he was pretty decent,” Lambert said of the Amsterdam-born, Leicester-raised youngster, who featured for the U23s in the October games against Bolton and Cardiff. “He just a baby still, still learning. But when I saw him in a few games, he was definitely worth having another look at.” Lambert believes it’s important for young players to nail down a single position as their primary role. “Versatility can kill you at times so if he can nail a position down whether it’s centre-half or right-back or whatever,” he added. “It’s a difficult one that because he’s still young and developing but what I’ve seen he’s definitely useful.”
