![]() Tuesday, 10th Sep 2002 10:01 More than 300 police will be on duty at Sunday's Portman Road derby between Town and Norwich. They are hopeful that the noon kick-off will help the game go off without trouble. Superintendent Carl Puiy is leading the operation: "Sunday's game is a significant fixture and it is my responsibility to ensure that there are adequate staff to ploice the event. "The game is a sell-out and we are expecting 2,200 Norwich fans." Both clubs have good reputations, although a recent Portman Road derby did see some damage done to the Cobbold Stand by away supporters.
