History Repeats in Cambridge Victory Wednesday, 5th Oct 2022 11:03 Kyle Edwards's cross-shot goal against Cambridge United last night brought back memories of a similar strike scored by Simon Milton against the same opposition almost 30 years ago. The similarities between the goals was quickly recognised and the two joked about it on Twitter. Milton’s goal came in a 2-1 League Cup victory back in September 1993, the last time the Blues had beaten Cambridge at Portman Road prior to last night. Edwards's effort was his first for the club and he followed it up soon afterwards with his second to seal the Blues' 3-0 victory.
