Slicker in Scotland U21s Squad

Blues keeper Cieran Slicker has been named in the Scotland U21s squad for their European Championship qualifier in Spain on Monday 11th September.

The youngsters will train in Scotland for a few days before flying out to Jaen for the match.

Slicker, 20, who looks set to make his second appearance for the Blues at Reading this evening, previously won eight caps at U21 level during his time at Manchester City.

Yes looks an excellent keeper but playing against Leeds with a shaky defence in front of him is much harder than playing against Reading. But definitely a future number 1 for the future.

He could if promise be maintained be an immovable No1 in the not too decent future good luck with your call up young man.

First of all, well done Cieran!

Second, whilst I accept that he is very promising he is also young and lacks experience. I would prefer Hladky who has done little wrong.
