Boston Have Logan Cash
Boston Have Logan Cash

Boston United chairman Des Wood says his club will be able to find the cash to take Town striker Richard Logan to York Street permanently. Logan is currently in the second month of a loan spell with the Pilgrims.

Town have told Logan that he can leave on a free transfer although they are insisting that they receive a percentage of any future fee that Boston may receive for the 21-year-old.

Chairman Wood says the money is available for manager Neil Thompson to make the signing: "The funds are there and a deal is currently being sorted out between us.

"These things take time and so it is not just a case of doing things very quickly all the time.

"We are in constant communication with Portman Road and I am very confident a positive conclusion will be reached. I have always said there is money available for the right players."

Logan has scored six goals in seven appearances since his move to the Lincolnshire club in late November.
