Town's players are set to be asked to take another pay deferral. A number of meetings have taken place between players, the administrators and the PFA, although it us understood no agreement has been reached as yet.

The players were asked to take a voluntury deferral along with the rest of the club's staff back in September. Most of the club's playing staff agreed to waive the 10% temporarily with that money due to them from the second parachute payment in August should Town fail to get promoted.

This latest deferral has not yet been finalised but is likely to be in the region of 20%.

Skipper Matt Holland, who makes his 300th senior appearance for Town when the Blues face Wolves, met with chairman David Sheepshanks earlier this week and was pleased with how the meeting went: "We spoke at length and he informed me what the administrators' role was and just took me through things step by step.

"It was an informative meeting and it will enable me as the players' representative to act as a bridge and answer any questions the best I can."

More on players' wages, the pay deferral and many other aspects of the club's financial situation in our exclusive interview with David Sheepshanks in the latest issue of TWTD, available around the ground prior to the Wolves and Grimsby games or by post: " target="_blank">http://www.twtd.co.uk/stall
