![]() Tuesday, 19th Aug 2003 16:33 Town boss Joe Royle has dismissed an immediate loan move for out of favour Aston Villa striker Peter Crouch as "highly unlikely", although he doesn't completely rule it out. Royle has warned his strikers that if they don't start getting on the scoresheet soon, he'll look for reinforcements. Town's last two games against Kidderminster and Crewe have seen chances galore missed by the Blues' front men. Royle adds that his ability to bring loan players in would be enhanced by the departure of unwanted, highly-paid players like Andy Marshall. The keeper is available on a free transfer but despite reports of interest last week he still remains at the club.
