![]() Wednesday, 30th Jun 2004 09:51 Town boss Joe Royle has confirmed that out-of-contract Crewe midfielder Dave Brammer is on his short-list of targets. TWTD first reported Town interest in the 29-year-old two weeks ago. Royle said: "He is one I have thought about and is on our list, but we have not made contact as yet." Brammer has been offered a deal by Crewe and is training with the Gresty Road club but as yet he has made no decision on his future. Stoke and Coventry are also reported to be interested. Royle has also been linked with former Colchester man Mark Kinsella, although a move for the Irish international looks less likely if Jim Magilton remains at the club. The Town skipper, along with Richard Naylor and Fabian Wilnis, are set to put pen to paper on their new one-year deals having discussed the finer points of their contracts over the last few days. Royle held discussions with Chris Makin yesterday with the full-back expected to give Royle his answer today. Makin is understood to have had another offer but Town are hopeful he will stay at Portman Road.
