![]() Tuesday, 10th Aug 2004 19:38 Town's Wednesday opponents Nottingham Forest have given short-term signing Jon Olav Hjelde a 12-month deal, easing their central defensive crisis. Forest have Michael Dawson, John Thompson and Wes Morgan all unavailable selection ahead of the season's second leageu game. Kinnear said: "Jon had to prove to me that he deserved a contract and I've seen enough now to know that he does. He has got better and better with every training session as his fitness levels have improved." The Norwegian, who previously had a six-year spell at the City Ground, has had international clearance granted having spent last season with the Busan Icons.
