Town striker Dean Bowditch says he has considered asking to go out on loan with his Town first team chances limited so far this season.

Bowditch is set to start at Doncaster this evening, the first time he has been in the eleven since facing Brentford in the previous Carling Cup match.

Bowditch said: "It does pop in to my head now and again to go out on loan but the manager has not said he is not going to play me.

"It is frustrating not to be playing but he has asked me to be patient and I'm happy to do that at the moment."

Bowditch has denied a report on a Liverpool website linking him with a move to the Reds, an exaggerated version of a local newspaper story previously rubbished club chairman David Sheepshanks.
