Town have six players off with international squads this week. Jason De Vos is with Canada, Shefki Kuqi with Finland, Dean Bowditch with the England U19s, Chris Hogg the U20s, while Darren Bent and Lewis Price face one another at U21 level for England and Wales respectively.

De Vos will captain his national side away against Honduras in San Pedro Sula next Saturday before they take on Costa Rica in Vancouver the following Wednesday.

Kuqi, who was previously reported to have given up on international football, has been called up as a replacement for the injured Mikael Forssell.

Finland face Armenia at home in Tampere on Saturday and Holland in Amsterdam on the following Wednesday.

Bowditch is in the England U19 squad which takes on the Czech Republic at Carrow Road this Wednesday night.

Bent and Price are likely to come face to face on Friday at Ewood Park. Bent will be looking to keep his six goals in eight games goalscoring record going, while Price will want to extend his clean sheet record to three Wales U21 matches.

The England U21s also face Azerbaijan away next Tuesday. Wales come up against Poland at home on the same night.

Reserve defender Hogg is in the England U20 squad for their game with Holland at Huddersfield next Sunday.
