Town's academy have asked Icelandic striker Viktor Unnar Illugason back for a second trial at the start of next season. The 15-year-old spent time with the Blues in February when he played for the U16s against West Ham.

Feyenoord are also keen on the Breiðablik striker and recently took him to Holland on trial, while Chelsea have also been linked.

This season's intake of Town academy scholars includes two Icelanders, goalkeeper Óskar Pétursson from Grindavik and midfielder Björn Orri Hermannsson, who like Illugason was previously with Breiðablik.

Town are also keeping an eye on 14-year-old striker Pape Mamadou Faye who is with another Icelandic side Fylkir.

Hungarian midfielder Zoltan Stieber, 16, is also due back at Portman Road on trial in the summer. Stieber, who is currently with Újpest in his home country, spent a week with the Blues in February.

Town's academy is also looking even further afield for new talent, with 15-year-old New Zealander Tommy Smith, a striker, having spent time on trial with the club.
