Fab: No Row
Fab: No Row

Dutch defender Fabian Wilnis says that although he has had no row with boss Joe Royle, he did speak with the manager after being left out of the 16 for the recent home game with Plymouth Argyle. Wilnis had been withdrawn in the previous match at Derby having been at fault for at least one of the Rams' goals.

Wilnis said: "I have had a clear-the-air talk with the manager, but there was no big argument or fall-out. I think he understood my frustration and he was sympathetic.

"I just spoke my mind. It was the first time I had been left out since Joe Royle became manager - and I hope it will be the last.

"I didn't think I deserved to be sitting in the stand. I think I should be in the team every week, never mind on the bench, so not being involved was a big, big disappointment.

"I give my heart and soul to the job. I work hard all week in training so not to have any reward at the end of the week was very frustrating. I was surprised - and angry."
