![]() Wednesday, 4th Jan 2006 15:28 Town's reserves lost 2-0 to Arsenal in a behind-closed-doors game at the Gunners' London Colney Training Ground this afternoon. The match was originally scheduled to be played at Barnet on Monday but clashed with a Bees fixture. Former Town loan target Arturo Lupoli scored a goal in either half with his head. Scott Mitchell returned to the Town side after spending the last 10 months on the sidelines with ankle and groin injuries. Mitchell managed 76 minutes before he was replaced by Russell Short, who joined the Academy from Cambridge United earlier in the season. Kevin Horlock was Town's most experienced player, while the Gunners included keeper Mart Poom, Emmanuel Eboue, Philippe Senderos and another former Town loan want Quincy Owusu-Abeyie. Reserves: Marcus Garnham, Scott Mitchell (Russell Short 76), Stuart Ainsley, Cathal Lordan, Chris Casement, Gerard Nash, Jaime Peters, Kevin Horlock, Kieran Leabon, Sammy Moore, Liam Craig.
