Canadian central defender Jason De Vos says he wants to play on despite a bone scan showing that he has a small hairline fracture to a fibula. The 30-year-old picked up the injury in the friendly with Osasuna but the extent of the problem was only shown by the scan carried out when the former Wigan man was with the Canada squad.

The injury, discovered after the 30-year-old broke down in training with Frank Yallop's squad, could see the former Wigan man miss a number of Town matches.
