A Town legends side drew 4-4 with a Norwich old boys team at Carrow Road on Sunday in a game played to raise money for the Canaries' Historical Trust. Bontcho Guentchev was the hero for the Blues, netting a hat-trick as Town came from 4-1 down to claim the draw.

Richard Naylor netted from the spot in the final minute to earn the Town 2000 side a 3-3 draw in his testimonial. Alan Lee and Danny Haynes put the current Town team two up before Jermaine Wright and Marcus Stewart levelled. Haynes netted a penalty and Naylor fittingly completed the scoring.

Boss Jim Magilton has revealed that released Rangers defender Bob Malcolm will be joining the Blues on trial this week. The Town manager has also confirmed that Dutch defender Joey Van Den Berg is on trial at Portman Road, as reported by TWTD on Friday.
