Town have announced that entry to Saturday's FA Youth Cup fifth round tie against Watford at Portman Road will cost only £1 (KO 3pm). The club say the price reduction is a gesture to the 400 or so fans who attended the earlier staging of the game which was abandoned in the 88th minute due to a waterlogged pitch.

A strong reserves side failed to get the better of Luton's second string as this afternoon's game at Playford Road ended 0-0. Owen Garvan hit the bar for the Blues, while for the Hatters Scott Sinclair headed a golden opportunity wide in the final minute.

Boss Jim Magilton admitted he had no idea why his side performed so poorly against Southampton after the impressive displays at QPR and Preston, where the Blues lost after dominating for most of the game. Town were second best throughout against a Saints team which has now won its last three matches.
