Town have announced that the terracing units on the new stand are now all in place while work on stabilising the concrete shear walls (an awful lot of work these shear walls aren't they) continues. Blockwork partition wall work is also ongoing. With scaffolding on the roof done, work on the new roof itself can start.

Jamaican trialist Jermaine Johnson has returned home after failing to win a contract with the Blues. The midfielder spent a couple of weeks at Town, but wasn't considered good enough to join permanently.

It seems it is going to be one of those weeks with Town now linked to FC Copenhagen striker David Nielsen. Neilsen looks likely to go to Sheffield Wednesday who have agreed a fee of £450,000 with the Dane's club, but Town are mentioned as a possible alternative destination for the 24-year-old.
