Skipper David Norris is a doubt ahead of Saturday’s home game against Scunthorpe due to the ankle injury he suffered at Barnsley prior to his recent two-game ban. Better news for boss Paul Jewell is that midfielder Colin Healy is expected to return from his torn stomach muscle.

Championship top scorer Graham struck after three minutes as Town started sloppily then added the second after the break with the Blues unable to find similar quality in and around the penalty area, Cowie adding the third in the closing moments.

Keeper Ian McLoughlin has joined his Town team-mate Shane O’Connor in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad playing a friendly in Portugal on Friday 25th March. McLoughlin, who is currently on a month’s loan at Stockport, has previously won one cap, coming on as a sub and saving a penalty.
