U18s Take Annual Trip to Southwold Tue 26th Jun 2012 17:34
The Blues' U18s will make their annual trip to north Suffolk to face Southwold Town on Friday 27th July (KO TBC). The Town youngsters, including the 10 new first-year scholars, will be at Playford Road for the start of pre-season training on Monday 2nd July.

Northampton winger Michael Jacobs has completed a move to Derby County after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee reported to be £450,000. The Blues, Newcastle, Peterborough, Watford, Bristol City and Charlton Athletic were all also believed to be chasing the 20-year-old, but the Rams always appeared to be the frontrunners.

The Hornets may be will willing to sell the former England U21 international, who was previously with the Blues’ academy between 1997 and 2000 before his family returned to hometown Nottingham, as they are reportedly set to sign former Cardiff man Tom Heaton, who is a free agent.

Town striker Michael Chopra has completed his stay at a California health farm and flew back to the UK overnight. Last month, TWTD revealed that the 28-year-old would be spending time in the US as part of his preparations for the new season.
