Bidding on BT’s Britannia Stand executive box for the Crystal Palace game on Saturday 22nd October is up to £410 with 5pm next Monday the deadline. BT are donating their box to raise funds for the ITFC Charitable Trust’s disability football scheme, Ability Counts.

Progress could be made regarding Town’s rent row with Ipswich Borough Council at IBC’s executive meeting this evening. In March, it was revealed that the annual rent on the land on which the Portman Road stadium stands had risen by 743% from £15,000 to £111,500, backdated to 2004.

Town right-back Carlos Edwards this morning pleaded guilty to charges of driving whilst disqualified and without insurance at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court. The case was adjourned until Thursday when, after pre-sentencing reports, the 32-year-old will be sentenced.
