Skipper Jim Magilton says he is still considering whether to stay with the Blues for another year. The former Northern Irish international is out of contract at the end of the month and has been offered a new one-year deal with Town.

Rotherham keeper Mike Pollitt is reported to be on Joe Royle's list of possible replacements for Kelvin Davis. However, newly-promoted Wigan have confirmed that they are already in talks with the 33-year-old, while Leeds are also interested.

Chairman David Sheepshanks says the Blues have received "just under £1 million" from the £1.25 million Kelvin Davis deal with Sunderland. The remainder of the cash goes to the MK Dons as part of the deal which saw Davis join the Blues from the club then known as Wimbledon in the summer of 2003.
