Town battled their way to a 2-1 win over Leicester in atrocious conditions at Portman Road. Strong winds and rain throughout made things difficult but the Blues were two ahead inside 25 minutes through Shefki Kuqi and a Mark De Vries own goal. Jordan Stewart netted a freekick late on for the Foxes.

Academy striker Billy Clarke played the full 90 minutes as Ireland's U19s lost 2-1 to Denmark in their final game of a four-team tournament at La Manga on Friday afternoon. Both sides netted own goals during before Mads Torry Lindeneg notched the winner in the 64th minute.
