As expected, both Town's East Anglian derbies with Norwich City have switched to Sunday midday kick-offs at the request of the police.

Town's trip to Bristol City has been confirmed for Tuesday, 4th December. The game might have had to switch as Bristol Rovers were also scheduled to play a home match that night and local police are unable to cater for two games on the same evening.

Midfielder Darren Currie, released by the Blues at the end of the season, is reported to be on the verge of joining Scott Barron at Millwall. Currie was first linked with the Lions in January and then again earlier this month.

Boss Jim Magilton has admitted that the breakdown of Darren Bent's proposed move to West Ham was a massive frustration for the Blues. The £17 million switch would have netted the Blues £2.88 million from a sell-on clause in the 2005 deal which saw the England striker join Charlton from Town.
