Town skipper Matt Holland has insisted that he will be fit to play for Ireland this evening in their match against Denmark. Holland has suffered a little tightness in his calf during training with the Irish squad.

Town will reveal the results of the kit vote prior to Sunday's Sky game with Bradford. Literally billions of votes have been cast with number one seeming a favourite from what we've gathered. We suspect it will be a close run thing, though with either kit one or three getting the nod.

Town have denied that there is any truth in the story suggesting that Swede Per Nilsson is coming on trial. His club Giffarna Sundsvall had said that this was the case on Monday.

Alan Ferguson's pitch cover suffered a rip at the weekend when a freak gust of wind ripped a tear in it. Fortunately the damage to the McLeod Airflow Cover wasn't too bad and a few stitches were applied.

Town have announced that they have 650 extra tickets available for Sunday's game with Bradford. Apparently the Yorkshire club have returned much of their allocation.

Swedish sources are claiming that Giffarna Sundsvall defender Per Nilsson will be coming on trial with Town. The Swedish club claimed to have a 'co-operation' agreement with Town earlier this month, but Town played this down claiming they had merely exchanged a few ideas with the club as they have many others, although there was a possibilty that some young players might go on loan to the Swedish club.

Town are being linked with Luton striker Stuart Douglas, however Joe Kinnear has moved quickly to quash the rumour. £650,000-rated Douglas is currently out injured and with Mark Burchill signed only last week a move for another striker would be unlikely.
