Town have announced the squad for the Monday, 29th July friendly against Conference side Barnet. The Blues squad which is currently on tour in Denmark remains pretty much the same for the visit to Underhill.

AaB Aalborg full-back Allan K Jepsen was in confident mood after his side's 1-0 win over Town last night. The former Hamburg man said that on that performance he would be confident his side could do well in the English leagues.

John McGreal last night received a nasty challenge on his left ankle and now is unlikely to feature in what remains of the tour of Denmark. He's also likely to miss the two matches in Bristol later this month.

George Burley was happy with the workout against AaB Aalborg, but said that "it really showed that it was our first game. We certainly looked rusty. We had one or two players that missed the last few months of the season through injury so it was good for them to get games under their belts."

Town's first team began their pre-season programme with a 1-0 loss against AaB Aalborg in Frederikshavn this evening. Town were always the second best side, although the match was lost early on when Martijn Reuser volleyed a cross past Andy Marshall.
