Town's reserves defeated the MK Dons 2-1 in their first game of 2007 at Portman Road. The Blues went ahead through Danny Haynes in the first half before Oliver Thorne equalised for the visitors, but Jaime Peters sealed the win after the break.

Town boss Jim Magilton has issued a statement regarding the disciplinary action taken against the five squad members who made an unauthorised visit to Amsterdam last week.
