Midfielder Gavin Williams has been named in the Championship Team of the Week. The Welshman was amongst Town's top performers in the 2-1 victory over Derby County on Saturday.

A late Danny Haynes penalty won Town a 2-1 victory over Derby in a pulsating game at Portman Road. Matt Oakley put the Rams ahead prior to the dismissals of Alex Bruce and Derby keeper Stephen Bywater, but Town were on top throughout and Franny Jeffers equalised before Haynes's late spotkick.

Town will give fitness tests to keepers Lewis Price and Shane Supple, and full-back David Wright prior to Saturday's home game with Derby County. Price hurt his foot at Sheffield Wednesday on Monday, Supple has a slight groin strain and Wright has been suffering with a virus.

The Blues have director Holly Bellingham to thank for the recruitment of new youth player Reggie Lambe, according to academy manager Tony Humes. Lambe, 16, will become the club's first ever Bermudian when he starts as a full-time scholar in the summer.

Second half goals from Glenn Whelan and Steven MacLean saw Sheffield Wednesday to a 2-0 victory over the Blues. Town had plenty of possession and innumerable first half corners, but Franny Jeffers's late freekick off a post was the closest Town would get to a goal.

Town continued their good late run with a 5-1 thrashing of Barnsley. Gary Roberts started the rout in the first minute and George O'Callaghan added a second on half-time. Daniel Nardiello pulled one back for the visitors, but Danny Haynes, Franny Jeffers and Jon Walters settled the result.
