Town boss George Burley has revealed that Marcus Stewart is being rested this evening. Originally the striker was included in the squad facing Charlton at Portman Road (KO 7pm), but Burley feels he needs to be rested. |

TWTD has learnt that Gary Croft is the latest player to become a loan target for a lower division side. We're told that Croft, recently rumoured to be on his way back to Grimsby, is being targeted by Second Division Wigan Athletic who have a number of defenders unavailable at the present time. |

Town boss George Burley has confirmed that Rotherham have made an attempt to take Richard Naylor to Millmoor as we reported by TWTD last night. Rotherham wanted the striker on loan, but Naylor was only prepared to move on a permanent basis. |

TWTD understands that Town's Richard Naylor has been the subject of an approach from First Division Rotherham United. According to our sources the Millers wanted to buy the striker permanently but Town's valuation of £1 million was out of manager Ronnie Moore's price range. They then tried to take the 24-year-old striker on loan but Town and Naylor were only willing to discuss a permanent move. |

Town eventually came through a tricky FA Cup tie at Dagenham and Redbridge, beating the Essex side 4-1 after going behind. The home side started strongly and went ahead through Junior McDougald before Sixto Peralta (2), Jim Magilton and the returning Marcus Stewart won it for the Blues. Once Town had gone ahead there was little doubt who would win with Town keeper Andy Marshall rarely tested. |

Town have name a 21-man squad for the in-danger cup-tie with Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow. As expected Marcus Stewart is included along with a number of more fringe players like Wayne Brown, Tommy Miller and Ulrich Le Pen. |

It appears Sixto Peralta may be OK to play in Saturday's game with Sunderland after being added to the squad. The Argentinian was initially omitted but has subsequently been included. |
