Town have agreed to extend Justin Miller's loan at Leyton Orient for another month. The South African defender moved to Brisbane Road a month ago and has done well in Paul Brush's side.

Town progressed to the third round of the Worthington Cup beating Brighton 3-1 after going behind. Dean Hammond poked home a cross completely missed by Andy Marshall in the third minute, but the keeper's blushes were spared by goals from Darren Bent, Pablo Couñago and a stunner from Darren Ambrose.

David Sheepshanks congratulated Town supporters on making Sunday's game the highest attended derby for some years. With the new North Stand almost complete the attendance was only just under the 30,000 mark at 29,112.

Unsurprisingly Andy Marshall felt he was fouled in the build-up to Norwich's goal during Sunday's derby. The Town keeper appeared to be impeded by both Malky MacKay and Iwan Roberts as he collected Paul McVeigh's ball forward.

A pulsating climax to the East Anglian derby saw Pablo Couñago grab an equaliser for the Blues in injury time from a Darren Bent missed penalty. Prior to that, the game had taken much the same pattern as recent derbies, Town having most of the play before conceding, and once again there was more than a little controversy.

George Burley has named his squad for Sunday's crucial derby against Norwich at Portman Road. Included are Mark Venus and Alun Armstrong who both came through the reserve friendly with Leyton Orient on Wednesday OK.
