Wright Returns For Cup Trip to Chelsea Fri 23rd Jan 2009 11:08
David Wright looks set to return to the Town side which joins 6,000 fans in travelling to Chelsea for Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie. While Wright is expected to come in at right-back, the Blues are waiting on left-back Ben Thatcher, who has spent much of the last week ill.

Town defender Alex Bruce has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifier against Georgia in Dublin on Wednesday 11th, February. Bruce has previously won two full caps.

Under-par Town fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers, Shelton Martis heading the game's only goal just before half-time. Rovers keeper Neil Sullivan prevented Darren Ambrose from scoring on his return and Richard Naylor hit the bar, but Town were unconvincing throughout.
