It is being reported that Richard Wright is set to sign a new deal when he returns from international duty. The Town goalkeeper's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has been in talks with the club and it seems Town have secured the services of the keeper for a longer period. |

Despite the loss of the initial appeal Town are fighting on to try and get Marcus Stewart's red card overturned. Chairman David Sheepshanks was in talks with the FA yesterday and they have agreed to allow Town another appeal. |

Inevitably the Rio Ferdinand story has ended up with some hack deciding that Titus Bramble would make a perfect replacement. A national newspaper report this morning claims that Bramble is about to become a £4 million target of Harry Redknapp as soon as the Rio deal goes through. |

Town are to field a strong reserve side in tonight's first home game with Leicester City. Gary Croft, Martijn Reuser, John McGreal, Wayne Brown and Keith Branagan are amongst the experienced players in the squad for the game which kicks off at 7pm. The game will be an ideal opportunity for players such as McGreal to stake a claim for a first team place. Town's Dutch youngsters Nabil Abidallah and Guillermo Graaven are included before they meet up with their U18 international squad next month. Also in the squad is Benoit Subrin who is a 17-year-old right back on trial from Lyon. Town squad: Branagan, Pullen, Nicholls, Croft, McGreal, J Miller, Brown, Moffat, Reuser, Niven, Abidallah, Midgley, Graaven, Subrin, English and Artun. |
