Why do Refs. not give us penalties ?

What a top performance from all 11 starting players. Bossed the match. Having Harness and Evans back made a huge difference and that it is the first full 90 minute performance I can recall in weeks and weeks. Would have been a cricket score if Davis’s crossing and finishing was a bit better. Ladapo and Harness were jointly my MOM however Wolfy, Harness, Chaplin and Evans also had great games. Good to see Wes back on the score sheet too and looking a threat. Bring on the Pompey!!

What a brilliant steadying influence Evans is, and he's only just back. Good performance, but our final ball and finishing is still wanting. When it is, we'll be unstoppable.

Good performance, comfortable win but once we scored Oxford were there for the taking. Would like to see us become more ruthless.

Leif Davis was exceptional, followed closely by home grown Woolfie. After a slow try and test start a solution was found to crack Oxford's egg., A very sound performance in front of a record crowd. Ref was outstanding again. Eddie McGinty has a great future in front on him as a comedian. I think that the support from all the team won the game of patience.

Div 1 refs don’t give pens. I think they are scared of making a poor decision. Much safer to give nothing. Having said that I remember the Sheff Wed match where Burns threw himself down to ‘win’ a free kick when he could have stayed on his feet and have a clear scoring opportunity. I was right next it. Not what I pay to see. He has improved a bit since then but still looks to go down on the slightest contact. Be actually looks pretty strong so no excuse.
Ladapo’s finishing was terrible again but a really good solid team performance.

Scary first twenty minutes - a good few loose passes. Thin we got a grip and after Freddie's goal the whole spirit lifted snd confidence visibly shone. We proceeded to dominate the game. Burns goal was a peach. Evans was masterful and showed we've missed his presence. Amazing work by our medical teams to get Lee, Marcus and Sone back but I am sure Donacien is still carrying an injury of sorts. His warm up looked guarded,
