Your Ipswich Town v Hull City Match Reports

A game of football from from two championship titans. As usual we tamed the beast (Tiger). The town circus is on the pitch and we were entertained. PR is one heck of a theatre. Goals galore in every game.

Problem right back area solved last night Williams looks a proper athlete with a bit of a nasty side. Broadhead not in the team is disappointing but Harness who was excellent last night makes us defensively stronger.

Last night was the first match of the season I'd been to and I was very impressed - we look to have gone up a level from last season and every player played really well.

Early on our shape scared me - Davis seemed as high as Burns, Chaplin and Harness, it often looked like a 3-2-4-1 shape! However Davis impressed me most - his passing was incredible, just threading passes inside to Chaplin or Hirst between several of their players when it didn't look possible.

Woolfenden looks to have come on a level too, he always had ability but now looked up for the fight, he was dominating their forwards, from my angle it looked like he should have had a penalty when at a corner their defender pushed him over and injured himself landing on him.

Another outstanding goalies display as both were excellent throughout. Brandon is really starting to shine and marcus (Harness) is profiting from all that sweat and tears at Playford Road. Got the impression that Hull were struggling the whole match to string passes together as our lads were always in their face. Hull beat Leicester away remember! Scott Twine still scares the sh**t out of me when he gets the ball. Another excellent referee at this level.
