Evenly matched sides both looking better when attacking. Probably a fair result leaving hope that Town can improve their performances & results.

Absolutely dire, it was League 1 standard.. I can only describe as being like watching one of the Paul’s games.

Much improved from Birmingham game. Great pressing won the early goal but we relaxed the pressure. Jack Clarke must come right soon I hope , but.. We so miss Morsy's confidence and reliability in the centre especially when playing out. Palmer always seems so surprised to get a backpass and seems undecided at times what to do with it - scary! Great to see Sammy go the 90 and he worked hard. An entertaining game and result about right. Re-affirmed my relief that we didn't go for Downes. He is not a nice player and hunted Taylor for a second yellow. Yep, we'll do ok this season.

We looked like a team in the middle of a minor rebuild. Morsy was really missed Azor needs games as he looked well off the pace. Southampton looked Knackered second half but we couldn't take advantage of it.

Pressing was strong, but the game wasn't one of great quality for either side. We're really struggling for shots on goal at the moment. And looks seriously worrying when playing from the back.

Hit nail on the head.....our midfield is very lightweight & need a bit of muscle. So miss Morsy's guile in the middle of the park. Afraid Taylor is not the answer to midfield defender, a position to be rectified asap.
Good to see Davis back to his best & Palmer reasssuring presence in goal.
We desperately need anothe class forward & surprised that we didn't make a play for Keiffer Moore.
Two games in & work to be done especially in midfield. Saints team looked literally heads & shoulders above us.

Got to get better. Need some additions urgently esp in midfield

It was an entertaining game played at a high tempo but lacking quality. My biggest concern is that we did not have a player comfortable with receiving the ball direct from Palmer. Other than that, much better than the Birmingham game. Referee made some odd decisions.

Big improvement from Town following the Birmingham match, they appeared to be fitter.

Still building a creation for this particular season. better signs against a team who has won twice this time around. Philogene is better than Dibling? Is Downes still available? Very enjoyable eben if the result wasnt perfect but it will improve like a good wine.
