Thta was really the big fish that got away. We definitely shaded it and losing a goal in the 95th minmute lacked some concentration. We learn and knit more and more together. Morsy coming on made the difference and Celina was probably his best game yet?

That must be Piggots last chance along with Carrol would like them both to go next summer. when they went off we became so dominant good performance town

Pigott just isn't doing it - he was lost, always off the pace, always being held or unable to get the right angle on the ball, and always seems to come off second best. Oxford supporters around us were commenting on how rubbish he was. Other than that, a really strong team performance, the more the game went on the more control we took. Celina was so classy, some of the passing and play just doesn't belong in League 1. If we can keep our best players and get a potent goalscorer next season we will be an unstoppable force with McKenna in charge.

Yes grinch you vertually stole what I was going to say. Carroll's been a good player but a succession of injuries have caught up with him he's neat and tidy but offers nothing physically and is too much of a luxury. The more i see of Pigott the more i think he's not fit he looks slow wins nothing in the air and gets knocked off the ball way too easily.

Obviously disappointing end to proceedings, but the positives far outweigh the negatives these days. We are exciting to watch, consistent (we don’t crumble one minute and play well the next, as we did in the past), and our support is solid. It’s been a long time since ITFC fans could actually enjoy games, but now we can. We can match anyone in this league (which never means you will win them all). As regards Pigott, it’s true it hasn’t worked out for him so far, but I don’t think he really fits the system. He’s probably better playing behind a front man, rather than shouldering that role himself. Bonne is more ”edgy” and does it better. COYB.

Just watched the game and I feel sick! 30 seconds away from a deserved win. Three quarters of the team did a brilliant job. Burns stood out as my MOM for an magnificent all round display. Walton and the back three - excellent as ever, Bakinson tackled well and made some good passes, Celina a threat throughout when he got on the ball, Morsey and Bonne both made a big impact when they came on in the second half. For me Thompson needs to offer more going forward, Carroll and Piggott I are I fear simply not good enough at this level, and Chaplin needs to create more in a match although his initial pass that led to Burns cross for the goal was sublime.
