Must admit was tempted to give Aluko a ten tonight but at times probably took one touch too many when an early ball would have been more beneficial but that would be nit picking. Jacko's now showing the form he showed when he first came remember he scored eleven goals and six assists. His game has improved under McKenna with goals and assists . He's got something our other strikers haven't got pace and mobility which defender's don't like.

Great first half with everyone playing well and once we got the first goal looked very comfortable and in control. Second half Lincoln changed their formation and competed better however with all the injury breaks the game became very disjointed. Comfortable win and stand out performances from Burns, Aluko, Jackson and Wolfy. my MOM goes to Burns. Please please be fit for Saturday!!

A fast start in the face of high and persistent press from Lincoln. Aluko was magical and Celina had flashes of brilliance. We looked oiled, organised and offensive. Two good goals but towards the end of the half, as Lincoln became a bit desperate and physical, we were in danger of picking a red card, especially by Celina. Needed a steady talk from McKenna at half time but Lincoln had an even more inspiring halftime chat because they came out very positive snd re-arranged. They managed the midfield better but had no finishing power fortunately for us. Long distance travelling to crap pitches began to show effects in the injuries picked up by Edmonson, Morsey and Burns - not helped by Lincoln frustration. But we regained mastery. Burgess and Carroll slotted in seamlessly displaying real squad depth and quality.
Could make the play-offs but whatever happens, next season will fizz.

Best and most copmplete performance in the last twenty years The couple sat behind me agreed as we compared notes.b Aluko was amazing and probably MoM? The whole team put in a sensational shift of excellence. Hope the progress can continue on Saturday and see you at Wembley?
