Paint drying would be more entertaining than this match. First half no intent, no tactics and no hope for the future. Second half we improved slightly but not enough. The subs arrived too late and we continued to struggle against a team of talentless players.

If you can believe this, our performances are deteriorating each game we play. Downes may as well never been on the pitch in the first place. Palace dodged a bullet there.
Embarrassingly devoid of any attempts to try and win. Lambert must be replaced tomorrow.

That has to be the worst quality match I have ever watched. Town played with no cohesion or self belief and Northampton during the first half in particular gave us no time in the ball and were first to everything. You would think that at half time Lambert would have made wholesale changes however the same team and formation were continued for the second half. Mad no sense and the same dross was served up. Only when Judge, Bishop and then Norwood came on did we see some half decent play and a few chances created. Parrot had a shocker and our full backs who looked so good two games ago were all over the place with poor passing and created very little. I am totally fed up watching the rubbish quality of football being served up week in week out in a league we should be bossing. I am convinced we have the quality of players however the tactics and way the team are set up each game is poor and until we get a new manager with fresh ideas I can only see a mid table finish.

We have an amazing ability to make the most inept clodhoppers look like a decent team.

The poorest ratings I have ever given . Even the otherwise decent ref bizarrely squared up to Judge. Probably in the top ten worst games I have witnessed since I was 10. I’m now 65 which is the same number of years ago when we were 12th in the old 3rd division. Sad is an understatement. Robson would never believe how low we have sunk.

Pathetic display, only improved by Judge and Norwood. One up front doesn't work, but PL still uses it every game. The referee's mistake for the penalty (it clearly was a penalty), and booking and then squaring up to Judge was bizarre. I've never seen that before.

The referee's score is based more on entertainment than fairness.

Time to have a wip round and buy a new centere forward like we did with Ray Crawford.

Get the money bucket out!

on this basis we'll be relegated! Maybe what PL intends.

Sears and Thomas ? Seriously. Poor Parrot got so fed up with the lack of anything he went foraging in his own half, badly.
The subs were all decent, they looked energetic, inventive and positive.
Cant blame Holy, even Downes looked to have been sucked into the mire.
I remember a time when a left sided player at Town would drop his shoulder, leave his marker for dead and drop a pass onto the toes of a forward. These days we get excited when a left footed midfielder (and hes one of the good ones), drops his shoulder comes back inside and plays a 5 yard ball to his centre back, who mostly doesnt want it because theres no movement for him to work with.

Another completely dire performance from a seemingly totally disjointed Town team. Little co-ordination and virtually no goal-mouth action until Judge appeared in the second half. If seems every match undermines Town's reducing hope of any promotion any time soon. It seems the team were devoid of creative skills and fluency. A new head in charge might be the answer.
