Leeds unaware that they are even interested!. Man U and Everton both hovering over making a bid (needing bench warmers). Either club would be a mistake for Hackney (they can't guarantee him game time like ITFC can). |

Ive written Hackney off with us now... its vern like pulling teeth trying to get him to cone here. So fine move on,which i think the club have. Its the bloody striker we so badly need. We have nit been able to sign one again, whether they've failed a medical, not conecat all or hone to other clubs, We have not managed to pull in a decent experienced striker to give competition to Hirst since we actually signed Hirst! |

Patience needed but there is some cause for concern about our general recruitment and obvious targets. The two signings indicate we may have learnt something but letting important players go for free indicates we haven’t. I’d prefer we went for players who clearly want to develop with us rather than ones where we’re obviously competing with bigger fish (is in the Prem) so we’ll either lose out late in the day again or pay over the odds again in the hope we’ll get a bigger resale which worryingly seems to be the fixation. |
 | News Comment | Brentford 'Remain Keen' on Hutchinson by ChrisFelix at 06:41:28
A move to Brentford, would see back in the Championship in a year. I also found Omari & a few others where out musscled by stronger & more physical teams. The Leicester incident is a good example, as our flare players never recieved any protection .Would it be any different for him at Brentford. As far as Hackney is concerned, was a season at Ipswich any problem for Delap |

One thing is obvious. There's major competition among many clubs for signings right now. That can't be an easy process for those responsible. So even more patience is required. Like everyone else, I hope something materialises soon. We are 80% there, but we probably need the final 20 to fulfil our desire to be a top challenger in the division. |

del45, for some bizarre reason I regularly get notifications from the Everton website on my phone, might be something to do with going on there months ago! However, if you read the article properly he hasn't had a medical at Everton, or anywhere else, and as a poster above mentioned, even on the Everton website, they're saying he's hoping for an approach from Tottenham. Whatever, it looks we are at the bottom of the chain right now. Good luck to the lad if he gets what he wants, but we want players who actually want to be here. |

I'm probably one of the few people on here who have actually seen the boy play. He was playing for Real Zaragoza against UD Almería, and frankly he was rubbish and got hooked after 65 minutes with his side three down! Later that season, I travelled to La Romeda to see Almería in the away fixture, and he was a sub, called on after 80 min and much to the surprise and disappointment of the UDA faithful he scored the second and decisive goal in his side's 2:0 victory! Obviously it would be wrong to judge on 2 appearances of lees than 90 minutes ...but he certainly didn't remind me of Pablo!!!! |

Del45.....load of nonsense, they are far more likely to go for Douglas Luiz, who fits their profile more. According to some reports HH is still hopeful that Tottenham make a move for him,as their his preferred destination. |
