ME and SG are both business men who I feel have been poorly advised on the appointment of Keane (far to bullish) and Jewell (safe but too soft). I honestly feel that they have truly learnt from these past 2 appointments and that the next manager will be exactly what we need in these torrid times. Lets face it.. There is no false position, too many players keep stating this fact, but as fans we know this is not the case. We are in this position in the league because we have not performed on the pitch. The table does not lie, too many at the club hark on about if, buts and maybes... We were unlucky...if we had of scored first it would have changed the game... it wasn't his game... he didn't play well etc etc... bottom line is we are where we are on merit. Agree will Gilsey about the big club situation, we've seen a lot of big clubs fall into league one. What about Man City.. |

Lets not get carried away... It seems clear that the agent is trying to get the best deal for his player. Reports bouncing around seem to indicate that Chambers is looking for 16k a week. I agree that the club should stick to a wage structure, and this seems a lot of money for a player who lets be honest had one good season with Forest 2 years ago but has failed to deliver since. Just check out the Forest forums... everyone in Nottingham seem to be glad to see the back of him and are laughing at his ridiculous wage demands. |

It's clear to me that we will not sign any players. We are offering peanuts to all parent clubs including Portsmouth who really do need the money but know that we are trying to take advantage of their situation... Deals are being done everyday and all I seem to hear is how hard and complicated it is to sign players. The bottom line is that money talks. I agree to an extent that you can't pay over the odds, but judging from the comments regarding potential signings we are offering well under the asking valuation of the players we are looking at. opposition managers and owners laugh at us when we make a bid for their players. Not good times at Ipswich especially after that horror show against Leeds. Something needs to be done otherwise we will be playing League 1 next season. |

Why on earth did this happen... Gary Was a model Pro, great guy, Great player. I'm very sad about this. Truly puts things into perspective. Don't even care about our poor performances on the pitch now... I just hope this raises awareness to all those that are suffering in any way shape and form. Gary is an example of this, everything seemed to be going for him, just shows how fragile we are. |
